Please Touch Museum, the Children's Museum of Philadelphia, was founded in 1976 with the mission of enriching the lives of children by providing learning opportunities through play. Over its 31-year history, the popular museum has come to be recognized nationally for its excellence.
Today our programs go far beyond our doors, with beloved local events, valuable training for parents and educators and superb community outreach partnerships that set new standards across the nation. But Please Touch Museum has far outgrown its current space.
If we are to continue to serve you and all the children and families of the Philadelphia region, then the time has come to take our place in a space created to delight the eye and enrich the spirit. That's why we're making Memorial Hall our new home - and we want you to be part of this exciting change!
Work is underway - but we still need funding to finish this $88 million project! We need your support today!
Before we move to Memorial Hall in the fall of 2008 we still need your support for our current museum at 210 North 21st Street!
